Karen M. Fox was born on March 7th, 1960 and She was the daughter of Victor and Eileen (Garrity) LaPorte.
She passed from this World on July 2nd, 2025.
She graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Nutrition. She graduated from John Hersey H.S. in Arlington Heights, IL.
She had a succesful career which brought her all over the world in the Global Credit Card processing industry.
Karen was an amazing athlete. She was a track & field athlete in which she had a scholarship at SIU Carbondale, a triathlete and was always physically active, biking, swimming, running and kick boxing just to name a few. Karen was a track coach and gymnastics coach and judged gymnastic competitions.
She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Fox, by her father, Victor LaPorte, by her siblings, Victor (Deborah) LaPorte, Theresa (Ken) Sarni, Thomas LaPorte and by Kathleen (Jeff) Myers, and by her Aunt Sheila Garrity Douglas, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Farewell to our Colleague Karen Fox
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Karen Fox.
Karen’s warmth, vibrancy, and dedication touched us all, and her legacy will be remembered forever. Karen fought her battle with cancer with inspiring strength and grace. Despite the challenges she faced, she remained engaged, positive, and committed to everything she loved—whether it was her work, her athletic pursuits, or her relationships. Her passion for business development was matched only by her determination to succeed, and she was always willing to support and uplift those around her.
Beyond her impressive achievements as a successful business development professional and athlete, Karen’s kind and loving nature made her a beloved member of our community, when joining Worldline almost 6 years ago, She was not just a colleague, but a true friend to many of us.
Karen’s influence extended beyond the office and the sports fields; her spirit of resilience and positivity served as an inspiration to all who knew her.
Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will remain in our hearts as a reminder to cherish each moment and to face life’s challenges with courage and grace.
During this difficult time, let us honor Karen’s incredible legacy by embodying the same passion, kindness, and determination she exemplified every day.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, and loved ones. Rest in peace, Karen. You will be forever missed.
